Promotes culturally grounded, peace-oriented, human-centered development research through the humanities and social sciences.
AGAK means Action for Greater Advancement of Knowledge. As its name connotes, the Center aims to provide venues and initiatives for efficient and effective transfer of knowledge within its research, development, innovation and extension (RDIE) programs. In particular, the Center is envisioned to become a dynamic institution for enhancing the deftness of every individual in the use of appropriate strategies and in the formulation of new solutions to educational needs through technology literacy.
CCPD promotes culturally grounded, peace-oriented, human-centered development research through the humanities and social sciences.
By 2030, CCPD envisions to be a leading research center that fosters cultural diversity, peace, and human development.
To examine the influence of cultural expressions and philosophical thought on identity formation and to promote ethical human development and social transformation.
To analyze how social systems, community engagement and psychological factors contribute to individual and community resilience and overall well-being.
To develop culturally relevant interventions that promote social justice, gender equality, and foster partnerships for the creation of culturally appropriate and people-centered development strategies.
