The Office of the Vice President for Research, Development, Innovation, and Extension (VPRDIE) conducted the RDIE Agenda presentation and consultation meeting at the Caraga State University–Cabadbaran Campus (CSU CC) on February 11, 2026, at the CSUCC Gymnasium. The activity brought together key university stakeholders to discuss and align on the University’s strategic directions in research, innovation, and extension for the next five years.
The RDIE Agenda was presented by CSU officials led by Vice President for Research, Development, Innovation, and Extension, Dr. Jeffrey Dellosa. In his presentation, Dr. Dellosa emphasized that the Agenda serves as a strategic roadmap that articulates CSU’s priority research and extension areas, performance targets, and implementation pathways, anchored on the University’s vision, national development priorities, and regional needs. He highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional alignment to ensure that research and innovation initiatives translate into tangible social, economic, and environmental impact for Caraga and beyond.
The event was attended by CSUCC top officials, including division chiefs, college deans, department heads, and RDIE-designated faculty members. Their participation underscored the shared responsibility of academic and administrative units in operationalizing the RDIE Agenda and embedding it into college plans, departmental programs, and faculty initiatives.
Beyond the formal presentation, the activity also served as a platform for consultation, coordination, and collaboration among stakeholders. Faculty members were given the opportunity to better understand the University’s strategic priorities and to situate their research, innovation, and extension projects within the broader institutional framework. This consultative approach aims to ensure coherence in program implementation, optimal use of resources, and stronger synergy across units in pursuing the University’s mandate.
Through this initiative, CSUCC reaffirmed its commitment to advancing innovative research, strengthening sustainable and community-responsive extension programs, and pursuing development initiatives that generate meaningful impact. The presentation and consultation on the RDIE Agenda 2026–2030 marks a significant step in consolidating CSU’s efforts toward institutional growth, academic excellence, and greater contributions to societal progress.
