Qualifying Experience
– Almost 10 years of experience in teaching soil science courses particularly soil physics, genesis and classification and research courses such as methods on agricultural research

– Almost 10 years of experience in research on soil quality measurements, methods development, soil aggregation, carbon sequestration, soil survey and classification and Biochar research

– As Project leader of a Department of Budget Management (DBM) funded research on Soil and Plant Health that resulted into the establishement of a Soil Research Laboratory for the College where our methods development research and some analysis where conducted as well as students doing their theses.

– Designed and implemented databases (spreadsheet-based) for college-wide knowledge management systems and faculty research and extension logging system

– Skills in R Language for statistical analysis and Data visualization in RStudio

– Skills in using Markdown for writing scientific papers (Quarto)

– Skills in using Reference managers systems such as Zotero for research and literature management

– Skills in open-source free statistical software such as jamovi, jasp and pspp

– Has made significant contribution to the usage of open journal system (OJS) for the establishment and management of one of the University’s Scientific Journal –
